Jazmine Sierra Payne, mostly known as Jazzy, is the daughter of Janine Payne and C.J. Payne, the little sister of Malik Payne and the big sister of the twins Hayden and Jayden Payne. She constantly feels invisible and acts out to get her father's attention while her mother is in rehab. At one point, Jazmine had a brief crush on Malik's friend Kevin. Despite her apparent innocence and youth, throughout the series, she was known to act cruel and mean toward Malik and Kevin and schemed to make them miserable. She is also known to have sarcastic comments and sly plans to get what she wants, and it is revealed she has a fear of mimes with hats. Jazmine did not appear in Season 3 because she was going to a school for the gifted children. She reappears at the start of the 4th season. She is now in college.

Jazmine is an African-American female who is usually seen in pigtails or a bun and maybe curls. In the revival seasons, her hair would be straightened out. Sooner, she uses lipgloss and makeup. Her eyebrows are arched.

Jazmine is a jokester and likes to sometimes torture her brother. She likes to play tricks (mainly as locking people out of the house) and being extremely sarcastic. Sometimes those tricks would backfire on her when her family does it back, and usually seeks attention.
